Duck away from the bustle of Covent Garden’s Wellington Street and you find yourself in one of London’s prettiest restaurants.

Bostonian mirrors and English oak beam subtle lighting into the building’s most hidden nooks and crannies. Being in PJ’s is like being in a classic, members’ club – a window onto a more elegant past.

At any time of the day, PJ’s bustles with life. From groups of lunching businessmen, well-heeled youngsters sipping at the bar, producers hob- nobbing with actors, to the throngs of couples enjoying a romantic pre-or post theatre meal, PJ’s throbs with vitality. It’s this daily melting pot of Covent Garden society that has made PJ’s such a enduring landmark.

The Gallery, tucked away downstairs provides living testament to the galaxy of theatreland folk who have passed the doors and made PJ’s their second home. It’s worth a look if you’ve a minute or two to spare.

It works because PJ’s stands for excellence across the board. Excellent service, excellent food and wines, unrivalled atmosphere. We offer an authentic, Covent Garden theatrebar experience, untrammelled by commercialism, and undiluted by the time. PJ’s has been at the hub of the West End’s community for 26 years, and although Covent Garden has changed a lot in that time, we’d like to think that our values haven’t.

The restaurant can cater for up to 100 covers. For those who require a degree of anonymity, the Alcove comfortably accommodates 30 people, whereas the Theatre Royal End of the building is perfect for for larger groups of up to about 50 who need a bit of seclusion. In fact, the whole building lends itself admirably to a wide-range of events. Give Bill or Owen a call on 020 7240 7529 and they will be happy to discuss any requirements.
